Paperless Options

With Freedom National’s paperless options, you can quickly access your bills and policy documents online. With Freedom National’s text message alert option, we can send you certain text message alerts related to your billing and policy.

Once you sign up, you will no longer receive paper versions of your bills and/or policy documents in the mail. Instead, an electronic version of your bills and policy documents will be available online. We are required by law to send certain insurance paperwork (such as cancellation and renewal notices) in the mail, so you will still receive those types of documents by mail even if you have opted in to paperless documents.

When a new bill is ready or new policy documents are available, we will send you an email.

To enroll, log in to your account at FreedomNational.com/secure and select "Manage Notifications” from the navigation menu on the left. If you have any questions or have trouble enrolling, please contact our customer service department at CSR@FreedomNational.com or 888‑542‑4222.

If you change your mind later, you can switch back to paper at any time.

 

Paperless Billing

By signing up for Paperless Billing, instead of receiving all of your bills by mail, you will receive an email as your bills become available to review online. You will then log in to your account at FreedomNational.com/secure to access your paperless bills. You will have access to all of your bills, payment schedules, and payment history online without receiving them in the mail.

 

Paperless Documents

When you sign up for paperless policy documents, instead of receiving all of your insurance paperwork in the mail, we will send you an email advising you that your policy documentation is available for review online. You will then log in to your account at FreedomNational.com/secure to access your paperless documents.

 

Text Alerts For Your Auto Policy

In addition to the email bill reminders, you can choose to receive text message alerts from Freedom National reminding you to pay your auto insurance bills.

 

Paperless Billing/Paperless Policy Documents/Text Message Policy Alerts

We are required by law to send certain insurance paperwork (such as cancellation and renewal notices) in the mail, so you will still receive those types of documents by mail even if you have opted in to paperless documents. When you applied for a policy with us, you already agreed to receive application and policy documents electronically. With your affirmative consent, we can provide your bills and other policy-related documents to you electronically instead. We can also send you certain text message alerts related to your billing and policy. The information below will help you understand the conditions and requirements relating to paperless billing, paperless documents, and text message alerts.

 

 

Text Message Alerts Policy

General Information

This is an ongoing text messaging program that, if you enroll, will provide you with information regarding your Freedom National auto policy such as bills due, renewals, documents available, and other periodic account information.

 

Freedom National does not charge for this service. However, message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. By providing your consent to participate in this program, the account holder approves any such charges from their mobile carrier. Charges for text messages may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance. Text messages will come from short code 84183 (Freedom National). The number of messages received will vary based on your account activity. You choose whether to participate or not. It is completely up to you.

 

How To Enroll/Opt-In

You may sign up for the Freedom National Policy text messaging program by logging in to your online account FreedomNational.com/secure and selecting "Manage Notifications” from the navigation menu on the left. After you sign up, we will send you a welcome message confirming your enrollment. The message reads: "Thanks for joining Freedom National Notices! Approx 5 msgs/month. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel." After enrollment is complete, you may receive periodic standard rate messages specific to your policy.

 

How to Un-Enroll/Opt-Out

To stop receiving text messages, send STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to 84183.You will receive a standard rate message stating: "You are unsubscribed from Freedom National Notices. No more messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help or email CSR@FreedomNational.com."

 

Enrollment Status

Once enrollment is complete, your status will display as Enrolled. The Not Enrolled status will display when you are not enrolled or un-enroll from text message options.

 

How to Get Help

For help, text HELP to 84183. You will receive a standard rate message stating: "Freedom National Notices. More help at CSR@FreedomNational.com or 888-542-4222. Approx 5 msgs/month. Msg&Data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel."

Electronic Billing and Document Delivery Agreement

The parties to this Agreement (the "Parties") are the policyholder, or prospective policyholder, ("Policyholder" or "you") and Freedom National Insurance Services, Inc. ("Freedom National" or "we"), who agree as follows:

1. You have already agreed at the time of your application for a policy to have Freedom National electronically deliver to you your application and policy documents. You agree to have Freedom National electronically deliver to you additional documents, records, and information regarding your policy ("Documents") if you have signed up for Paperless Policy Documents, and/or billing statements ("Bills") if you have signed up for Paperless Billing, until such time as either party modifies or cancels this Agreement. You will receive these electronic Documents and/or Bills instead of paper documents.

2. You will receive an email when the Documents and/or Bills are available and you can view them by logging into FreedomNational.com/secure with your password.

3. We may issue some notices or documents by print mail and not by electronic delivery. Examples of such documents are cancellation notices, renewal notices, and in some states, ID cards.

4. At any time while this Agreement is effective, you may obtain a paper copy of a particular Document or Bill at no charge by calling Freedom National at 888-542-4222 and requesting a copy.

5. This agreement is voluntary. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by changing your delivery preferences online. After the termination is processed by us, which may take up to ten (10) days, all future Documents or Bills, as the case may be, will be provided to you in paper form. Termination of this Agreement shall not affect the legal enforceability of Documents or Bills provided to you before the effective date of the cancellation.

6. You are responsible for maintaining a current email address on file to ensure that your Documents and/or Bills are deliverable. You may update your information, such as changing your email address, at any time by accessing your account at FreedomNational.com/secure.

7. To access the site and obtain Documents or Bills electronically, you will need access to the World Wide Web (Internet) and a security-enabled web browser, with 128-bit encryption installed such as Chrome 35+, Firefox 30+, Safari 7+, or Internet Explorer 8+. Many other browsers will also work with our site. The information you send to us is encrypted. We use an industry standard Secure Socket Layer to allow for encryption of sensitive personal information such as name, address, credit card, or bank account information you have been requested to provide online. You will also need an email address, as well as PDF reader software, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader® that can be downloaded directly from Adobe’s website at https://get.adobe.com/reader if you do not have it on your computer. You will need a printer if you wish to print out your documents.

8. You are responsible for accessing, opening, and reading your Documents or Bills. When you enroll in Paperless Policy Documents, your contract will remain available as long as the policy is in force. While they're available online, you can print your policy documents or save them to your computer for any future access. Electronic Documents and Bills have the same legal effect as printed ones. If you cannot access or read any Documents or Bills, you must contact Freedom National as described in section 4.

9. Freedom National may amend the terms of this Agreement at any time by providing notice to you of the amendments. If you do not agree with the terms of the amendment, you can terminate this Agreement as described in section 5.

10. Freedom National does not warrant that the delivery of electronic Documents and Bills will be uninterrupted or error free. We are not liable for: any loss or damage arising from problems with your equipment or your telecommunications provider; your failure to meet your responsibilities as outlined herein; or any equipment problems or other occurrences beyond our reasonable control.

11. By accepting this Agreement you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You acknowledge that you are able to view the Documents and/or Bills using your computer and software in accordance with the technical requirements listed in this document. This Agreement is effective when we electronically receive your acceptance.

Paperless SMS Terms and Conditions

Participation in the programs on this short code is standard rated. (Message and data rates may apply.)

This text messaging service allows you to request and receive messages about your Freedom National policy.

Subject to the terms and conditions of your mobile carrier, you may receive text messages sent to your mobile phone.

Text messaging is effective as soon as you complete the enrollment process. You accept that each text message may not be encrypted, and may include information pertaining to your account.

Receipt of each text message may be delayed, or prevented by factors affecting your mobile carrier and/or other factors outside of our control. Neither we, nor our affiliates, will be liable for losses or damages arising from (a) non-delivery, delayed delivery, or misdirected delivery of a text message; (b) inaccurate or incomplete content in a text message; or (c) your use or reliance on the contents of any text message for any purposes.

We reserve the right to terminate this text messaging service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. The information in any text message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays. You may stop receiving text messages at any time by sending STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to 84183, or you may also opt-out by logging into your Freedom National account at FreedomNational.com/secure via a web browser.
