Become a Producer

Interested in becoming appointed with Freedom National? Before you begin please be sure to check out the requirements, documentation that will be needed in order for your application, and the state specific instructions to make sure that your application process runs as smoothly as possible.

To become an appointed producer for Freedom National Insurance Services, you must have the following:

1. Valid P&C Insurance License, with Personal Lines Authority
2. Current E&O Coverage with Minimum Limits of $1,000,000
3. Dependable and Committed
4. No egregious background or historical items (we perform a background check)
5. Have not recently applied for an appointment with us

To save time in the application process, please have the following information ready prior to beginning:

1. Company License – a copy of your current and active company license, as issued by your state's DOI.
2. Voided Checks – we will need voided checks for your trust and operating account and additional deposit accounts for commission payments. Please have separate files for each location and account, if different.
3. E&O Dec. Page – Must include limits, policy number, carrier information and expiration date.
4. Written Premium and Loss Ratio Report for 3 carriers – reports should be on carrier company letterhead and should include your company's total written premium for new business for the calendar year and prior year and current loss ratio (this requirement is waived if you are a new company and do not have any active appointments)
5. Company Tax ID – valid EIN # or SSN # and name/entity associated and registered with the IRS for taxation purposes.
6. Company Email Addresses for Employees – for the creation of logins for the Freedom website. Ideally, we prefer each employee to have their own login.
7. Agency Management Download Info – If you use an agency management system, we will need the name of the system, version in use, settings, account #’s and contact person.
